See Table below for the latest list of events. If you want to participate in an event, contact the leader or the appropriate committee member. Please note that all trips are subject to postponement or cancellation due to insufficient participants or adverse weather. Places on all trips are limited mainly by the numbers of leaders. First in, first served. Please contact the leader ASAP.

Members go paddling all the time, but either aren't planning 6 months ahead, or the trip needs rain or other suitable conditions. If you would like to go on a trip, or would like to lead, please get in touch with the relevant coordinator.

Tuesday night pool sessions are open to all members and non-members from 7-8:30pm at Riverside Pool.  Costs are: Members with no instruction provided: $5, Members with instruction provided $10, Non-members with no instruction provided $10, Non-members with instruction provided $20

Sat & Sun 10-12 Sept SK Totaranui - Staying at the DOC bach (Baird's Cottage).                Comfy bach sleeps six with camping spaces for another six,  $25 ppn.  Early bookers secure the inside beds!  Drive in on Friday 10 evening or Saturday 11 morning.  Plans to be finalised when numbers are known.  Bach is booked for our exclusive use for both Friday 10 and Saturday 11 nights.  (Note: dates are now a week earlier than originally posted) Easy - Mod 4 Sept

Several members are interested in paddling rivers such as the Baton, Pearse, Wairoa, plus several in Golden Bay. Chris will hold a list of contact details those interested and when a run is on he can contact you. Or you can contact him for the list if you have been watching the weather and want to initiate a trip.

Starting at the Iron Br, there’s a little bit of grade 2 otherwise grade 1 through to Westport. This trip covers a lot of distance but can be shortened to a moderate trip by starting at Berlins. Overnight option in Westport for surfing the next day.

A social Rogaine / orienteering competition around the lake. Working in pairs for safety. Some knowledge of navigation would be good but we will pair people up; weaker and stronger for paddling skills and navigation skills.
If some one would like to organise an afternoon trip this could be extended into an overnight trip staying at the DOC hut, a volunteer is needed to organise this.
