Pool Training – 26 February

The Club hires the Riverside Pool each Wed night 7.30-8.45pm for Club members & non-members alike to train & practice kayak techniques indoors in warm water.

Instruction in rolling technique is usually available from Club mentors. See website under “TRAINING” for details as to costs and requirements.

Tahunanui Evening Training – Thursday 27th February

Type: Peer Group Lead / Instruction
Minimum Ability/Grade: Sea Kayak - Yellow
  6 pm for 6:30 on the water

Rescues, self and assisted

You will require your own "sit-in" sea kayak and equipment, or make arrangements to hire from the club. Please bring suitable paddling clothing and warm clothes to change into after. Getting wet may be part of the activity... Please aim to be at the beach by six and ready to get on the water by six thirty.

Location may change with the weather/sea conditions – it may be better at another location
Activity will be tailored to suit the group
